Coursework: AiPOD, Digital Illustration Year: 2018 Purpose: Athletic Shoe Advertisement
Create an Athletic Shoe Magazine Ad. This athletic shoe advertisement will have an “animal” theme. Somewhere in the ad a prominent illustration of the product must appear. The product should be illustrated as photo-realistic as possible in order to advertise the shoe’s new features. The animal used in the ad can be realistic or stylized, but must work with the theme to sell the shoes.
In Illustrator, I created digital illustrations of my chosen animal, the bighorn sheep, the shoe design, and the landscape/background. I also used Illustrator to develop the logo and icon graphics used in the advertisement. Then I transferred the individual pieces into InDesign to create the ad layout, and add the text elements.
